The Medicare Special Enrollment Period (SEP) runs to December 31
The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has established a Medicare Special Enrollment Period (SEP) to support Medicare beneficiaries impacted by hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria, and by wildfires in California. The SEP extends the Medicare Annual Election Period (AEP) for these individuals until the end of 2017. Check the list of CMS-designated affected regions by clicking the link to the right.
